Chelsea told to pay £102m for Thomas Tuchel’s favourite attacking target

Chelsea are highly interested in signing a new striker over the summer as the new Premier League season is set to kick-off in three weeks time.

Blues coach Thomas Tuchel wants to reenforce his offensive department as Tammy Abraham is expected to leave the club also following Olivier Giroud’s departure to AC Milan.

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has been Chelsea’s prime target but his £150million valuation is proving a deal difficult for the Blues.

However, Chelsea are now considering other cheaper options for Tuchel, with reports linking Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku to Stamford Bridge.

According to The Sun, Chelsea will have to pay around £102million to sign their former attacker Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan this summer transfer window.

However, It’s believed that Inter are looking to keep their best players at the club after improving their financial problems with the sale of Achraf Hakimi to PSG in a £60.7million deal.

The Belgium attacker could represent a cheaper option than Haaland, who could cost Chelsea up to £150million this window.

Lukaku netted 24 goals and provided 11 assists in 36 matches in Serie A last season.
